Gerald Hoffman has helped grow the family business at H&H Construction and is running for a seat on Petawawa Town Council.
Hoffman tells myFM he has the time to dedicate to the position and as someone who has lived and worked in Petawawa for the last 35-years, he believes he can do the job the town and local residents need.
Hoffman says it’s important to promote recreation in Petawawa and support the Civic Centre and Algonquin Trail.
One of the priorities for the Petawawa candidate is expanding the commercial sector to provide more choices so residents don’t have to leave the town to spend money.
Gerald Hoffman is one of the candidates running for a seat on Petawawa Town Council. Other candidates running in the October 24th Municipal Election are Simon Brooks, James Carmody, Lisa Coutu, Karen Donovan, Adam Driscoll, Matthew McLean, Cyndi Mills, Murray Rutz, Theresa Sabourin, and Barry Schimmens.
Gary Serviss and Jody Anne McDonald are the two candidates running to replace long-time Petawawa Mayor Bob Sweet who will not be seeking re-election after 34-years as an elected official and 22-years as Mayor.
