A Commemorative Crosswalk is a way to honour them ALL year long but we need your help.
104.9 myFM is looking for 104 Hearts (people) to donate $104.90 to support the Royal Canadian Legion Pembroke Branch 72. The Pembroke Legion is raising funds to support the installment of a commemorative crosswalk on Mackay Street leading to the cenotaph.
We know that our community can make this a reality.
And we did!
We’ve reached our goal and want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who became one of our 104 Hearts, and helping the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 cover the cost of their Commemorative Crosswalk honouring Canadian Veterans.
Every ‘heart’ will be listed on a banner that will hang inside the Pembroke Legion!
