The “eat with us” cooking series has featured a number of local restaurants and local goods featured across the Ottawa Valley.

Business Development Officer with the County of Renfrew, David Wybou, says they filmed five episodes at Hedgeview Farms in Laurentian Valley.

The first three episodes featured:

• The Flamingo Restaurant – Renfrew
• The Heartwood Restaurant – Combermere
• The Babbling Gourmet – Admaston/Bromley

The final two episodes of the “eat with us” local cooking series featured:

• The Axe & Paddle – Eganville
• J&E’s Bored N’ Saucy – Petawawa

Wybou says there’s a lot of great food in the area and he adds it’s amazing the passion that these chefs have, not only for food, but local food.

The business development officer for the County of Renfrew encourages everyone to shop local when you can.
