It's that time of year again where you can lace up your shoes and support the Renfrew County Branch of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This years Friends for Life Walk-A-Thon will be held on May 26th at the Pembroke's Riverside Park.

Some good news from the Ministry of Natural Resources regarding potential flooding the Ottawa Valley. The Pembroke District of the MNR has changed their flood warnings to flood watches.

Heavy rain washed out some local roads in Laurentian Valley yesterday, however crews have worked hard to fix the problems. Public Works Manager for the township, Mark Behm gives us an update.

It's going to be a busy weekend at the Champlain Trail Museum. Today and tomorrow from 10am until 4, the 42nd Field Regiment will be presenting Kids Combat Days at the museum. One of the organizers, Bob Clauson has the details.
