A scary moment for an Arnprior teen while she was driving her ATV in Ladysmith, Quebec last Saturday. Taylor Yach was knocked unconscious after a wire that was stretched across a trial struck her in the neck.

STUDY AIMS TO MONITOR MICROPLASTIC POLLUTION IN OTTAWA RIVER

Canada's most recently designated Heritage River is showing signs of having a microplastic pollution problem. Ottawa Riverkeeper is currently conducting the first ever microplastic sampling of the Ottawa River, and every water sample taken so far has tested positive.
