Some new life is coming to Troyes Cinema at Garrison Petawawa. Film.Ca Entertainment Corporation has announced the re-opening of the base movie theatre Troyes Cinema, now known as Film.Ca Troyes Cinema, on the upcoming May long weekend. A grand reopening is planned for May 17th. Jeff Knoll, CEO of Film.Ca says that the re-opening of Film.Ca Troyes Cinema signifies our commitment to serving the men and
women of the Canadian Armed Forces, base staff, their families, and veterans.
In a statement, Film.Ca say they are committed to continuing Troyes Cinema’s tradition of providing top-tier entertainment experiences while fostering a strong sense of community within the Garrison’s community and beyond. Col. Guiney and the Film.Ca Troyes Cinema will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and special event during the grand re-opening weekend on May 17th. Popcorn will be popping, and memories will be made.
Knoll notes that Film.Ca has initiated a series of updates and improvements. While the character and charm of the building remain intact, guests can look forward to the ongoing roll out of enhanced amenities over the coming months including expanded food and beverage offerings, upgraded seating and enhanced Digital Dolby sound with more shows seven days a week, special events, and more.
