A two-vehicle collision involving a passenger car and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) occurred on April 16, 2024, just after noon, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The accident took place on Combermere Road near Blueberry Point, where the driver of the passenger car struck the rear of the SUV, causing damage to both vehicles.
The 18-year-old driver of the passenger car, from Bancroft, has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. A Provincial Offences Act notice was issued as a result of the investigation.
No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were able to leave the scene without the need for a tow.
