UPDATE:
The Renfrew Detachment of OPP is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 417 in McNab/Braeside Township.
On January 17, 2022 at approximately 12:25 p.m., OPP officers and County of Renfrew paramedics responded to a collision on Highway 417 westbound underneath the White Lake Road overpass. One person has been pronounced deceased at the scene. The name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
As a result of the collision, Highway 417 westbound is currently closed between County Road 29 and Campbell Drive. An OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.

The OPP has closed a section of Highway 417 near Arnprior after a motor vehicle collision.
Police say drivers can access westbound highway lanes by exiting County Road 29 and continuing through Arnprior to the Campbell Drive on-ramp.
Westbound lanes at White Lake Road are closed.
