The County of Renfrew Paramedic Toy and Food Drive scheduled for Saturday (December 11th, 2021) in Pembroke has been cancelled.
The decision to cancel the event comes due to the special weather statement issued by Environment Canada which is calling for significant rainfall, wind gusts up to 70 km/hour and the potential for freezing rain.
The event is tentatively being rescheduled for the following weekend on Saturday, December 18th, but details still need to be worked out.
The event this weekend was cancelled out of an abundance of caution for volunteers and those wishing to participate in donating.
