The Pembroke Public Library is hosting the annual Multicultural Festival this week.
Library CEO Karthi Rajamani says it’s an event to celebrate diversity and culture.
She adds the library connects community members and supports participation and inclusion.
Rajamani encourages everyone to participate in these types of events to be more understanding of other cultures.
The Multicultural Festival hosted by the Pembroke Public Library will take place virtually this year due to COVID-19.
Rajamani says as part of the event they will feature music, dance and have partnered with some cultural restaurants.
Those who ordered food will have it delivered between 6:00pm and 7:00pm as the events are shared online.
The Multicultural Festival will take place on Friday, September 24th, with events to be posted on the Pembroke Public Library website and social media pages.
On Friday September 24 visit our website www.pembrokelibrary.ca or check out our Facebook Page Pembroke Public Library to watch the full video of cultural performances from local entertainers!
