Over 70% of adults (aged 18+) in Renfrew County and District have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCHDU) says 82,722 doses have been administered at one of several clinics in the region.
Over 75% of residents in Renfrew County and District over the age of 55 have received their first dose.
Under half of Renfrew County and District residents between the ages of 18 and 34 have received their first dose.
Starting Monday (June 28th, 2021), everyone in Ontario over the age of 18 who received their first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine will be able to book an early second dose appointment, no earlier than 28-days after the first dose.
