The City of Pembroke has launched a new business spotlight series.
The first business spotlight is on Ullrich’s which is located downtown Pembroke (at 214 Pembroke Street West).
Ullrich’s is a local butcher shop that also features grocery options, catering, and delicious goods made in-house. The local business has introduced a number of measures to help customers feel comfortable coming into the store.
Some of these safety measures include physical distancing markers on the floor, one way traffic, plexiglass guards, curbside pickup, and increased online sales options.
Martin Ullrich, Director of Operations says the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed their business to develop new ways of reaching customers. He says they’ve built an online shop where they are constantly adding new products and customers can do all of their grocery shopping online.
As events start to happen in Stage 3, Ullrich’s has also made it easier for clients to
get a quote for catering services with online options and limited face to face contact.
More details can be found by following Ullrich’s online, on Facebook or on Instagram.
The City of Pembroke new Business Spotlight series is an opportunity to highlight local businesses and let residents know the changes they’ve made during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you know a local business who is adapting, you’re encouraged to contact the City of Pembroke.
