The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has released a breakdown of local case COVID-19 case information. The numbers released today (May 19th) show a large increase in cases in the Petawawa area. The Town of Petawawa and area has now recorded five COVID-19 cases.
The health unit says Arnprior area has seven cases of COVID-19 and the Renfrew area has six. Deep River and Pembroke are both reporting two cases and Barry’s Bay and area has one.
The COVID-19 information breakdown shows 10 local health care workers have tested positive for COVID-19 (seven work outside of Renfrew County and District), five deployed military members and seven community cases.
