TC Energy has issued a statement after incorrectly labeling Remembrance Day on their 2020 calendar. The company recently sent out annual calendars to landowners in the Ottawa Valley and across Canada who live along their extensive natural gas pipeline system. TC Energy says a formatting error caused Remembrance Day to be listed on November 10th instead of the 11th. TC Energy recently apologized for the mistake and says with over 200 military veterans in their workforce they failed to demonstrate the thanks and respect they deserve. Instead of re-printing the calendars the company has decided to make a $25,000 donation to Wounded Warriors Canada and the Courageous Companions veterans charities. TC Energy says the environmental impact of re-printing and delivering the calendars was too great and the donation is roughly what it would have cost to re-print the calendars. The apology letter says a sticker is available to correct the wrong information.
