The Eagles Nest in Eganville will host a 5G information session this weekend. Renfrew County Residents for Safe Technology is putting the event on tomorrow (Saturday) from 1 to 3pm. This group of concerned citizens wants to bring awareness of and safety solutions to all residents and elected officials in Renfrew County about the potential implications of rolling out 5G technology. The term 5G refers to fifth generation wireless technology. The local organization says 5G is a millimeter wavelength technology that hasn’t undergone any pre-market safety testing. Three speakers will take part in a panel discussion, followed by a question period. Frank Clegg the CEO of Canadians for Safe Technology has been a national leader in technology and child safety for decades. Doctor Anthony Miller, Professor at U of T and adviser to the World Health Organization will speak on Radio Frequency Radiation. The Director at the Electrosensitive Society, Sheena Symington, will discuss harm reduction and solutions to better your electromagnetic hygiene.
