Drivers should prepare for a possible lengthy detour as the bridge into Portage-du-Fort will be closed overnight for repairs.
Crews are pouring concrete and making structural repairs on Route 301 over the next six weeks.
The road will be closed completely from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Wednesday, between now and November 25th.
During the daytime, traffic going through the work zone will alternate in a single-lane.
There is a detour set up, and the Quyon Ferry is another option for people wanting to cross the river.
