A 37-year-old Pembroke man has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic complaint earlier this month, Ontario Provincial Police say.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP detachment received a complaint about a possible impaired driver in Pembroke shortly before midnight on Aug. 18.
Police located the vehicle and transported the driver to the detachment for further testing.
James Roadhouse, 37, of Pembroke was subsequently charged with operation while impaired.
Roadhouse was released and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Oct. 5.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, police said.
