Petawawa residents and trail users should expect intermittent delays along a section of the Algonquin Trail this week as town crews carry out tree trimming and maintenance.
The work is scheduled from Aug. 18 to Aug. 21 between Murphy Road and Town Centre Boulevard. The trail will remain open, but workers and equipment will be stationed at various locations.
Trail users are asked to approach work areas with caution, follow staff directions and give crews plenty of room to safely complete the work.
The Town of Petawawa says it appreciates the public’s patience and co-operation while the routine maintenance is completed.
