Ruth Philp of Janetville, Ont., is celebrating another big Catch the Ace win and putting the proceeds toward an epic girls’ getaway.
Philp was named the Week 15 winner after also taking home the Week 8 prize, marking the first time she has won a major prize — let alone twice.
Philp purchased her ticket online and selected envelope No. 31, a number with special meaning as it matches her granddaughter and daughter-in-law’s birthday.
Inside was the Four of Hearts, earning Philp a weekly prize of $918.
She says the winnings, along with her previous prize, will help fund a tropical girls’ trip planned for 2027.
Philp has family in the area and says supporting local health care is important to her.
The Ace of Spades remains in play for the Week 16 draw, with an estimated weekly prize of $1,000 and a progressive jackpot of about $25,403. Finding the Ace could mean a combined prize of approximately $26,403.
