The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation has recognized hospital staff member Jeremy Connor for his ongoing efforts to support local cancer care through the annual LumberFest fundraiser.
Connor has raised more than $12,000 for cancer care services at Pembroke Regional Hospital since launching the music festival five years ago. This year’s event generated a record $5,294.25, bringing the overall fundraising total to $12,271.35.
Hospital President and CEO Sabine Mersmann, joined by Foundation Executive Director Roger Martin, presented Connor with a commemorative trophy recognizing his dedication. What began as a live music fundraiser has evolved into a growing community event benefiting local patients and their families.
