Ottawa River Transit is celebrating its first anniversary by thanking passengers with a sweet treat. Drivers are handing out complimentary cookies to riders while supplies last, with the baked goods specially prepared by Alma Sweets in downtown Pembroke.
Transit officials said the milestone is a chance to recognize the community’s support over the past year as the service continues connecting residents across the region, one ride at a time.
