Despite a rainy Sunday afternoon, the second annual Pembroke Car Show drew many to the Pembroke Auto Mall lot, where car owners and enthusiasts gathered to show off their rides, enjoy local musical talent, and sample plenty of food.
The show, sponsored by the 401 Group of Companies, brought together car owners like James Luffman, who said he has spent years tinkering with his Model 8 Coupe and decided it was time to take it out and show it off.
Vice-President of the Eastern Ontario 401 Auto Group, Bobby Pakdaman, said one of the musical acts was being kept a secret until taking the stage, providing a great incentive for people to ignore the rain and come on down.
Pakdaman said plans are already underway for the third annual show next August.
