Thursday evening wraps up along the Ottawa River as the City of Pembroke’s free Waterfront LIVE! concert series continues. Wilson Delcourt takes the stage at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre with an evening of adult contemporary music, making it the perfect way to wind down a summer day.
Friday keeps the momentum going with a wide variety of community events. Petawawa’s Brain Fitness for Active Aging offers older adults an opportunity to stay mentally engaged through interactive activities, while the popular Friday Nights at the Container Market returns with local artisans, vendors, food and a lively community atmosphere.
In Pembroke, the festive Christmas in July Night Market transforms downtown into a seasonal celebration featuring local businesses, artisans, food vendors and plenty of shopping opportunities with a holiday twist.
Music lovers can also make the short drive to Palmer Rapids, where the Palmer Rapids Twin Music Festival continues another full day of country and bluegrass performances from Canadian and international artists. Back in Pembroke, another free Waterfront LIVE! concert closes out the evening as Peter’s Piano performs a mix of classical, jazz and contemporary music at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre.
