A Pembroke born-and-bred author is celebrating the release of his new book.
Brodie Cotnam says he grew up in the city attending Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School and Bishop Smith Catholic High School.
When Cotnam went to University, he took classes in English and in History, still unsure what he wanted to do for a living. He even considered going to law school for a time.
Cotnam’s new book, A Risk of Sunshine, is a collection of poetry. It was published on June 25th
Cotnam says the subject matter is approachable, some of it being very personal about his struggles in life and other passages being lighthearted.
Cotnam’s next plans are in his capacity as a screenwriter: he says she has a psychological horror short film that is set to enter production soon, and is hoping to get the ball rolling on some feature-length projects in the future as well.
A Risk of Sunshine is available on Amazon.
