Festival Hall is gearing up for a fall full of country music performances here in Pembroke.
Dorian Pearce, the hall’s director, says two country performers are set to take the stage at the hall in October and November.
Bamford, the first performer, is one of the most successful country music acts in the country, according to Pearce. He’s visiting the community as part of his “As Long As There’s A Bar” tour.
He’ll be accompanied by rising Metis country artist Dallas Alexander, who will open for Bamford on the tour.
Meanwhile, the “Coast to Coast Cowboy Christmas” show will feature Canadian Country Music Award winners George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett, who Pearce says are very popular among fans of the genre.
Their show will feature a mix of traditional Christmas music and songs from both of their discographies.
The most important thing, Pearce says, is that these shows are happening close to home for people in the Ottawa Valley.
Tickets for both shows are on sale right now on the Festival Hall website.
