The annual Renfrew County Warden’s Golf Tournament held on June 19th at the Whitetail Golf Club near Eganville raised $17,500, to be distributed to ten food banks in Renfrew County.
Warden Jennifer Murphy says “with food insecurity continuing to grow in our communities, the tournament provides an important opportunity to support food banks across Renfrew County”.
The winning team was the Four Horsemen, which shot a 62 on the day. The team consisted of Dennis Lazary, Garry Davis, Pedro Regalo and Nick Preyde.
Since its inception in 2005, the Warden’s Golf Tournament has raised nearly $96,000 for various charities and organizations across Renfrew County.
