A project to relocate hydro lines between Chalk River and Petawawa is expected to take about a year to complete.
Hydro One says the project is due to begin sometime late this year or early next and will involve about 25 kilometres of line across the Garrison Petawawa military training area.
The utility says relocating the line will allow crews to safely perform refurbishment work on equipment nearing the end of its life and minimize impacts to military activities.
Anyone wishing to comment on the project has until June 22nd to send feedback to the Ontario Energy Board.
