The Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre has opened registration for its 2026 Kids’ Days summer program, offering children a series of themed activities throughout July and August.
The program is scheduled to run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to children between the ages of five and 12.
Organizers say the 2026 season will feature 21 themed days designed to combine recreation, creativity and learning. Planned activities include treasure hunts during a pirate-themed day, photography projects, superhero-inspired games, water activities and arts and crafts exploring cultural traditions from around the world.
Additional themes include wildlife-focused activities and museum-based mystery challenges.
The cost is $30 for one day per week, $50 for two days per week and $80 for three days per week. Registration is available through the museum by phone, email, social media or in person.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre said the program is supported by several local organizations, including the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke, the Alice and Fraser Minor Sports Association, the Beachburg Lions Club and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72.
A complete schedule of themes and dates is available through the museum’s website.
