The City of Pembroke says its marina will remain closed through the Victoria Day long weekend and until further notice because of ongoing high-water conditions.
Municipal officials said the high water is affecting operations and public access at the Pembroke Marina, leaving all marina services temporarily unavailable.
The closure includes seasonal and visitor slips, fuel services, pump-out services and service docks.
The city also said the public boat launch is closed while marina operations remain inaccessible. Seasonal and daily launch passes will again be required once the marina reopens and normal operations resume.
City staff are continuing to monitor water levels and site conditions regularly.
Officials say they remain hopeful marina operations, including seasonal slips and visitor services, can resume as conditions improve.
Further updates will be provided to marina users and the public as more information becomes available.
The city thanked residents, visitors and marina users for their patience and understanding during the closure.
