A wanted individual has been taken into custody following an arrest in the City of Pembroke.
Ontario Provincial Police say members of the Renfrew County Community Street Crime Unit located and arrested the suspect at a residence on Pembroke Street East on the afternoon of April 24, 2026. The arrest was carried out with assistance from the Offender Management Apprehension Program unit and frontline officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment.
Police say the individual was wanted in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle reported in Pembroke in September 2025. During the arrest, officers seized a quantity of suspected illicit drugs and more than $4,500 in cash.
As a result, 38-year-old Brady Turcotte of Pembroke faces multiple charges under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl

- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – ketamine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – two counts
