Residents in Pembroke and Laurentian Valley are being reminded of upcoming leaf and yard waste collection scheduled for the weeks of May 4 and May 18, with materials to be set out on regular collection days.
Officials note collection schedules may change due to the Victoria Day holiday.
Yard waste must be placed in open-top containers, cardboard boxes or paper bags. Plastic bags will not be collected.
Branches must be bundled, no more than 5 cm in diameter or 1.2 metres long, and tied with biodegradable string.
