The Renfrew Skating Club will go from playing games to competing with the best to end their season.
Head Coach Katie Skerkowski and her skaters will welcome clubs from across Pembroke, Petawawa, West Carleton and as far as Kingston and Glengarry for their annual Bring ON the Fun! competition at Renfrew’s myFM Centre on Saturday, April 25th, showcasing their technical ability with some of the best young talents in Eastern Ontario.
Bring ON the Fun! gives Skate Ontario-associated clubs a fun, team-based opportunity to participate in a variety of categories and contests designed to foster team spirit and comradery, receiving feedback, awards, and recognition along the way.
Getting to host the day is something that Skerkowski is eager to treat her team to after breaking through to qualify for the provincial championships in recent years.
It’s the final hurrah for the skating club, which has spent the past month dazzling audiences with their Games Night ice showcase and celebrating their top performers with their annual awards banquet.
The competition will get underway that morning with free skates at 8:00 am and continue with various disciplines on display until 6:15 pm.
