The City of Pembroke says motorists can expect traffic disruptions along Paul Martin Drive as construction work gets underway this week.
Officials say the work will run from April 6 to June 19 between the city limits and Boundary Road and Mud Lake Road, with activity scheduled daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Drivers should prepare for narrowed lanes, reduced speed limits and minor delays as crews complete road paving and bridge repairs.
The city is urging motorists to obey posted signage and consider alternate routes where possible.
Officials add that businesses within the construction zone will remain open throughout the project and continue to serve customers.
The city thanked residents and commuters for their patience as infrastructure improvements move forward.
