UOV OPP say a 26-year-old Laurentian Valley man has been charged after officers investigated reported bail violations linked to a prior intimate partner violence incident.
Officers began the investigation around 5:30 p.m. on March 18, 2026, after receiving a report of breaches. Police allege the victim was subjected to unwanted contact and communication, contrary to existing probation and bail conditions.
The accused faces two counts of failing to comply with a release order and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused was held for a bail hearing and later released, with a future court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice.
