Algonquin College is inviting the public to its Annual Urban Forestry Arboriculture Climbing Competition on Thursday, April 23.
Students will compete in a five-event contest modeled on the International Society of Arboriculture Tree Climbing Championships. Visitors can watch the action, meet current students, and network with industry employers.
Attendees can even try climbing a tree themselves under the supervision of a certified Urban Forestry Technician, with full protective gear provided.
