The folks over at Western Financial Group here in Pembroke have not only been giving sound financial advice here in The Valley since 2019, but they’ve also been giving back to the community in a big way. The most recent recipient of their generosity is The Kinsman Pool which just received a donation of $9,229.85. This brings the total amount raised by the team to over $58,500 – and they are far from done.
Angie Elliot is the Branch Manager for Western Financial and she says that $5,000 of the over nine thousand total comes via an infrastructure grant from the Western Communities Foundation which was partially sponsored by Wawanesa Insurance. Angie tells us how the remaining four thousand and change came about:
