The City of Pembroke is preparing to recognize individuals and organizations in the community for their work to make it a better place to live.
Nominations are open for the 2026 Civic and Youth Awards, celebrating leadership, civic commitment and engagement in the community by honouring residents each year.
Sixteen awards are available, eight for adults and eight for youths ages 19 and younger, with categories like civic pride and community service.
Nominees need to live or operate within the City of Pembroke to be eligible. Youth award nominees need to be no older than 19 as of May 31st, 2025, and for-profit organizations can’t be nominated for the Civic Awards.
Nominations are being accepted on the City of Pembroke’s website until April 30th.
