The Town of Petawawa says several municipal facilities are closed Wednesday as freezing rain moves through the region.
Officials say the closure follows a Significant Weather Event declaration and an orange-level freezing rain warning.
Affected sites include the municipal office, Petawawa Civic Centre, Petawawa Public Library, Silver Threads Community Centre and the Public Works administration building.
Residents are urged to limit non-essential travel. Updates will be posted on the town’s website and social media.
