The Town of Petawawa marked the expansion of NeuroUnique World with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location on Petawawa Boulevard.
The growing organization provides respite care, life-skills programming and tutoring for neurodivergent children, teens and adults across the Ottawa Valley. Founded to address gaps in accessible supports, the agency offers services without wait-lists, regardless of diagnosis, funding eligibility or income.
Officials say the expanded space will allow for increased group programming, enhanced culinary training within life-skills development, additional camp opportunities for children and more dedicated areas for individualized sessions.
Families, community partners and supporters toured the upgraded facility during the celebration. Mayor Gary Serviss and members of council attended the Feb. 7 event, highlighting the organization’s continued growth and impact in the region.
