Algonquin-Renfrew-Pembroke MP Cheryl Gallant has announced that the federal government’s Enabling Accessibility Fund is now accepting applications for projects aimed at improving access in communities and workplaces for people with disabilities.
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations, small for-profit businesses with fewer than 100 full-time equivalent employees, and municipalities with populations under 100,000, based on the 2021 census.
Grants ranging from $500,000 to $1 million are available, with applications due by March 12, 2026, at 3 p.m. EST.
