Prospective future students from all across Ontario came to attend the Algonquin College Pembroke Campus’ open house this week.
Jodi Bucholtz, the campus’ Manager of Community and Student Affairs, said the January 7th event was fantastic, and was set up uniquely compared to past open houses.
Each new place a student visited gave them a higher chance of winning a prize pack created by the college. Bucholtz said the setup gave kids an opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and explore opportunities they might not have otherwise considered.
For anyone who attended the event interested in learning more about Algonquin College or submitting an application to become a student for the Spring or Fall 2026 semesters, Bucholtz says more details can be found on the college website.
Tours of the campus are also available as well as a “student for a day” initiative.
