In the days leading up to New Year’s Eve, the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation is highlighting local service clubs that contributed to its Tree of Lights Match-It campaign held on Giving Tuesday earlier this month.
The foundation is recognizing Royal Canadian Legion Branch 406, which donated $1,000 in matching funds. With support from seven local service clubs, the campaign raised $15,000 in Match-It funds, encouraging additional donations and helping generate a total of $35,099.
Proceeds from the Tree of Lights campaign will support local health care needs, including the purchase of essential equipment for the medical unit at St. Francis Memorial Hospital.
The Tree of Lights campaign continues until Dec. 31. Donations can be made through the foundation’s website or by contacting its office directly.
