One of the signature annual events for the Town of Petawawa came to an end Sunday and by all accounts it was a huge success.
The 2025 Petawawa Ramble ran from Thursday October 16th until this past Sunday where hundreds descended on the town of Petawawa to take in the annual fall classic.
Chief Organizer Rudy Kadlec talks about how The Ramble is one of the real passions he has as an organizer:
myFM’s own Jocelyn Hayes was there taking it all in and she says that Heritage Village in Petawawa saw a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, with the parking lot full from start to finish. The site featured a variety of local vendors offering handmade goods and was also one of the stops on the popular Harvest Portrait Walk. Hayes also noted that the Petawawa Container market was bustling on its last day and Kadlec remarks that the market is always a highlight of the event:
The Domino’s “Dough Show” was there allowing youngsters to try their hand at making their own pizzas, Life’s Little Moments Photography was at Heritage Village offering free mini-photo sessions in exchange for donations to the Petawawa Pantry. The Petawawa Girl Guides were outside Food Basics Petawawa raising funds for their 2026 trip to the UK selling their classic cookie selection.
Another highlight of the event is the “Pumpkin Folk” displays where every year the entries get more and more and more creative notes Kadlec:
This year’s winners are as follows:

#1 – Humpty Dumpty on Doran Street by Amanda

Rudy says that now that this one is in the record books it’s literally time to start planning for next year’s Ramble. A special thanks goes out to all of the volunteers and everyone who pitched in to make this the success that it was.
