The 2nd annual “Stereo Typical BLVD Fest” is in the record books and Mirjana and James Oberfrank are thrilled with the outcome of the all day and night event that took place in Petawawa on Saturday September, 13th.
Oberfrank says that it was a bit of a slow start to the day as the weather was a bit iffy but the sun broke through and the people showed up in droves making the event better than they had hoped for. A total of $13,000 was raised for Music Healing Veterans who were the recipients of all of the proceeds this year.
Plans are already in the works for next year’s offering and Mirjana says that she is pretty sure that MHV will be the go to again in 2026:
James tells myFM that what they raised in that one event often takes MHV a lot longer to raise so it just makes a lot of sense to keep the funds coming to their organization:
Attendance eclipsed last years total, say the Oberfranks and they are sure that this is going to become one of the biggest parties of future summers. James closed out the conversation by giving a well deserved shout out to their invaluable sponsors for the event:
A special thanks to all of the vendors who came out to participate and everyone who attended making it the hit that it was. See you next year!
