Through raffles, draws and collected membership fees, the Renfrew County Registered Trappers Association (RCRTA), 32 members strong, recently donated $500 to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s CT Scanner Fundraiser.
Presenting the gift, RCRTA president, Wayne Duffy, commented on the importance of the CT Scanner, to their members and family members’ diagnoses and recovery. “Our members span across Renfrew County, from past Cobden to Stonecliffe, so we recognize that Pembroke Regional Hospital is our local health care hub.”
“Helping out with the CT Scanner Fundraiser will help many people in Renfrew County, and we are very happy about that,” said Mr. Duffy. Receiving the donation, PRHF Executive Director, Roger Martin remarked, “Ensuring the best local health care is truly a team effort for our community, and we are sincerely grateful for local groups like the RCRTA that repeatedly join in on the efforts.”
Martin continues, “Our CT Scanner is up for replacement, being nearly 14 years old and topping more than 200,000 much needed scans, so thank you so much!”
