The dream has officially become a reality for our local baseball community. We are proud to announce the official unveiling of our newly revitalized “Field Of Dreams”, made possible through the generous support of the Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, and TD.
Thanks to this incredible donation, our field has undergone transformative upgrades that will benefit hundreds of young athletes for years to come. These improvements will help us continue to offer a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where children and youth can grow both on and off the field.
The unveiling ceremony will take place on Friday August 8 2025 at 7:00pm, located at Riverside Diamond 3 ( diamond closest to the river), and will feature:
- Guest speakers from Jays Care Foundation and local leaders
- A ceremonial first pitch
- Opening Ceremony for our 2nd Annual River Cats Wood Bat Invitational
- Community celebration with families, players, and supporters
“We are so grateful to Jays Care for believing in our players, our program, and our community,” said Amanda Williamson President of UOVLL. “This field will be a place where dreams are built, skills are developed, and kids feel like true champions.”
