There are lots of races for charity going on here in The Ottawa Valley this summer but this one is just a little bit different.
Andrew Chenard, Co Chair of the Organizing Committee tells myFM just how different it is:
The race goes on July 19th in support of The Kiwanis Club and it marks the first time the race has taken place since 2015. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 and according to Chenard the investment is well worth it if your turtle comes in first:
The prize package is being touted a s a “Summer Prize Pack” and includes a whole array of goodies to make your summer a memorable one:
Chenard recommends that folks watch from Coronation Park for the best vantage point of the race as the finish line will be there as well. Tons of volunteers will be on hand to make it a safe and enjoyable day.
See you on Race Day July 19th!
