The City of Pembroke is once again encouraging residents to go green with the return of its Private Property Tree Planting Incentive Program for 2025.
Home and business owners can receive up to 50 per cent back on the cost of approved trees to a maximum of two trees and $150 per property. The initiative supports Pembroke’s goal of expanding its urban forest and promoting a greener city.
With a total budget of $2,500, the rebate is available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds run out.
Applications are available at pembroke.ca/TreePlanting or in person at the Parks & Recreation Department at the Pembroke Memorial Centre (393 Pembroke Street West).
