The County of Renfrew is mulling over a change that could turn plans across the region into a reality.
County Council is proposing an amendment to their Official Plan that would introduce a policy allowing them to provide grants and loans to local municipalities that would support their Community Improvement Plans.
The community is welcome to join their Development of Property Committee plan for a public meeting to discuss the new amendment inside Council Chambers, 9 International Drive, Pembroke, at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12th, with the plan to have the final document ready to be adopted by council on June 28th.
Anyone who wants to attend but can’t make it to the county office can watch virtually through YouTube.
