The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating a single-vehicle collision that occurred in the Whitewater Region on May 29.
The crash took place around 10:50 a.m. on Beachburg Road. According to police, an eastbound pickup truck left the road while going around a curve, struck a telephone pole, and rolled over.
The Whitewater Region Fire Department responded quickly and extricated the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle. The driver was taken to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision. Drivers are reminded to slow down on curves and drive carefully in changing road conditions.
