The City of Pembroke is advising residents and drivers that Somerset Street will be closed today from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for important infrastructure repairs.
The closure affects the section of Somerset Street between Willard Street and Craig Street. During this time, only local traffic and emergency vehicles will be allowed access.
The City of Pembroke is asking all drivers to follow posted construction signs and to use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid delays.
“We thank everyone for their patience and cooperation,” said a spokesperson for the City. “These repairs are part of our ongoing efforts to improve local infrastructure and ensure safe travel for all.”
